Well they came back and said no on the warranty!

Any advice on which dealer I should let open up my engine and do the repairs?

It honestly blows my mind that they're not going to warranty this. It wasn't fast, but for a nearly identical issue I'm getting a warranty long block from varsity Chrysler. Thought about having it towed there & trying to get warranty through them?

There are enough people here with the same issue to start a class action lawsuit.

Your jeep has 12,000 Kim's and they are not going to warranty?!?!?!?!??! WTF. Tell us who it is and I will let them know I will never buy anything from them and tell everyone not to buy there.

Hey Shane sorry to hear your jeep might still be sick.

Hi Steve I bought my jeep from courtesy Chrysler!

Hey Craig varsity is the one who did my last service.... I'm not very happy with the, they did the 28 point inspection and said my air filter was good.

So long story short .... Chrysler said since my air filter was dirty I must have sucked dirt in to my engine.... Now with the oil analysis it does show high levels of silicon but a bunch of other metals used in pistons and cylinders...

I guess I will get them started on the repairs tomorrow....

You still have the service record from varsity? How can they blame you for the air filter not being changed when a dealership said its good. I would be waving that in their face.

Hi Bill, yes I sure do!

I don't know if I should take Chrysler to court or just use CAMVAP and get the dispute arbitrated.

Sure doesn't feel right having to pay for the repairs.... Guess the new jeeps are just for show :(

I would take it up with CAMVAP and Chrysler. They are screwing you over.
